Easter

Today I´m sending my outfit for a Hell Party 7, which was last weekend, as well as some photos from the event itself, altrough I didn´t photograph much. My look is inspired by Easter. Crucifixion, flowers in blooms
and all that stuff. Minus the eggs, bunny rabbits and ducklings :)

As I write this, I feel like listening to this wonderful Easter song - Easter by Patti Smith. Gorgeous!

More outfit photos under the cut, this post is quite image heavy and prepare yourself for a little blood too.

Kitch-iolina (daily outfit)

My DYI flower wreath and flower-decorated shoes have finally been worn together.
Lately I surround myself with kitschy things, paint kitschy pictures, take kitschy photos, so I naturally have urge for a dose of kitsch in my closet as well. This is my take on neo-pop in fashion.
I am sort of borrowing the image of long blonde hair with flower wreath from Jeff Koon´s muse, italian porn-star and senator in one person, Ciciolina.
And yeah, I do look like a tacky hippie barbie with a touch of fairy-kei.

More photos under the cut!

My boyfriend´s boyfriend (Daily outfit)

A little cleaning of the closet brought its fruit. I found an epic vintage outfit.

Flower obssesion (DYI)

As spring is still avoiding this corner of planet, I am compensating it by making flower accessories.
I like to wear flower wreaths on my head, so I made two this weekend and I also decorated my old Anna House shoes. Behold my flowery madness:)

Winter, you bitch, go away

No signs of spring here yet. The globe forgot how to spring.
And yes, I have this perfect new platinum-blonde wig. (purchased via votocvohoz.cz) And my diploma thesis is almost done. That´s positive at least. Listen to Mamas and Papas at least.
Spring, sun, flowers, grass, bunny rabbits, leafs, come on!

Classy photoshoot by Pája

I -don´t- have-any-time-for-blogging-you-guys :(

The reason is mainly because I am finishing my diploma thesis so I feel nervous most of the time when I start doing anything unrelated to school/work. Can´t wait to have this finally behind me.

But tonight I needed a break so I found some photos in my laptop and started editing them - those photos are few months old (I can tell the difference because now I´m few kilos thinner) and were taken by my schoolmate Pavlína in our university´s photo studio. I came wearing my regular clothes, gold/black outfit with vertical striped tights and a waist cincher from H&M.

But it´s definitely the blonde wig that makes me look so feminine and classy on these. Otherwise, I´d look like an androgynous android as usual.

Talking about androids, wait for my next entry, cos I went shooting with Murhaaya (www.murhaaya.com) last weekend.

Postproduction (yeah some basic retouch and color balances): me

I love that corset/belt/whatever it is. It was a real bargain, got it on 70% sale at H&M
As for the accessories, the bracelet is Marionnaud, the heart-shaped pin is vintage and the ring is my very favourite one from Lindex.

Drag Queen meets Lolita (makeup/outfit post)

I love playing with make-up so make-up posts will probably appear here as well.
These photos are from this years Prague Pride, a gay pride parade. I was offered to ride on a truck with my stylish friends, so I had to come with something special to wear. I always loved the traditional drag queen make-up, so I got inspired by something like this:

...and my result was this:

Because I was in Prague at my boyfriend´s place, I only had a simple small pallette of eyeshadows, an eyeliner and a pair of blue lashes I borrowed from David´s sister. So not much material to make magic with. But still, I like how it turned out.
Actually I was asked that night what gender I was. It was a compliment for me! :)

Here are some another pics of the makeup:

I think the main trick is to make your eyebrows really thin and unnatural, if I had my own brows shaved, I would make them even higher and more curved. But unlike my hair, I´d never shave my eyebrows off. The eyes must be cat-like and the cheekbones higlighted to make the face less feminine.
I went for a sweet-lolita-gone-bad outfit, have never posted it at Lookbook before, so here it is:

and here I am on the truck with my friends:

And my fave picture with Haru-chan (wonderlandharu.blogspot.com) - we are so Brandy Alexander, aren´t we?

I loved that day, I like to remember it especially now when it´s cold outside and nothing special is going on in my life. I look forward to next year and I have to think about my styling earlier!
